At the beginning of 2008 a unique group of companies was established in Hungary: the Olajterv Group. This meant the birth of the most complex, privately owned group of companies in the oil and gas industry in Central Europe, which is able to fully implement EPCM projects. The group is able to perform all tasks from design throughout procurement and manufacturing up to operation and maintenance, not only in the oil and gas industry but in many oher industrial sectors as well.
The OLAJTERV Group, which is united by the Olajterv Asset Management Co. Ltd., is the most significant Hungarian-owned enterprise in the oil and gas industry in the Central and Eastern European region.

The legal predecessor of DKG East and KVV is established.

1960 - 1963
|
The legal predecessor of OLAJTERV, the Kőolaj- és Gázipari Tervező Vállalat, is established. The following projects are in the centre of the general design activity: investments of the Dunai Kőolajipari Vállalat in Százhalombatta, oil & gas industry facilities in Szeged, the Friendship–II oil pipeline, the Tiszai Kőolajfinomító, and the facilities of the national product pipeline system.

OLAJTERV establishes an independent general contracting organisation and starts significant projects (e.g. BROTHERHOOD II gas pipeline).

Exporting general contracting: 193 km, DN 80 - DN 1200 gas pipeline construction in Irak (Basra).

First time in Europe: enhanced oil recovery (EOR), carbon dioxide injection at the Nagylengyel oil field.

The start of investment implementation outside the hydrocarbon industry:

- design and construction of industrial plants, laboratories, residential buildings, swimming pools

Construction of a waste incinerator plant as general cotractor. The plant is able to incinerate hazardous chemical and pharmaceutical waste as well (Dorog).

Olajterv engages in works with Paks NPP and prepares the general organisation plan for the implementation of blocks 5 and 6.

Olajterv establishes the country's most modern computer system.

Olajterv acquires the supplier certificate from Paks NPP.

The privately owned Olajterv Asset Management Kft. buys a significant share in Olajterv Rt. and performs a major increase of capital.
